The realization hit me like a ton of bricks.
On this week’s Unbreakable Wealth mastermind call, I asked a simple but powerful question:
Where have you been hiding in plain sight?
It’s a practice of mine never to ask anyone to go somewhere I’m unwilling to go myself.
So when I offer a reflection to the community, I journal my own answer too.
That’s my commitment: alignment first, always.
And this week, my answer was immediate.
I’ve been hiding too.
Here’s what I mean:
I haven’t been fully honest about what we’re building here.
Sure, Unbreakable Wealth is a place where we make financial freedom inevitable.
It’s a place to connect with other founders committed to building intentional lives.
It’s where we talk about living richly — not just financially, but fully.
All true.
But at its heart, it’s something deeper.
It’s a place for high performers to meet the parts of themselves they’ve kept hidden.
A space to remember who they are beneath the layers of ambition, success, and survival.
A container for transformation — not the kind you can script, but the kind that happens when you’re finally ready to lay your armor down.
And if I’m honest, I was afraid to say that out loud.
Afraid you might think it’s “too much.”
Afraid it might feel too big, too real.
But here’s the deeper truth:
Filtering that reality doesn’t serve anyone.
You deserve the full picture. Not the edited version.
So today, I’m choosing a different way:
Not by telling you. By showing you.
Here are the words of one of our members, Mike, written just days ago:
“I just came back from something I’ve never done before.
A personal development retreat.
Three days. No phone. No email. No noise. Just me—and a group of strangers all willing to strip away the layers and get brutally honest about who we really are underneath it all.
The retreat was called Unbreakable Life, hosted by my mentor Mike Brown.
I didn’t go there for some big emotional breakthrough. I thought I was going for more clarity in business. I figured I’d walk away with sharper strategy, stronger focus, and maybe some fresh ideas.
What did I got instead?
A complete reintroduction to myself.
And man… I wasn’t ready for it.
See, I’ve always been a high-performer. Always focused. Always in pursuit.
But somewhere along the way, I unknowingly picked up this identity:
The Prover.
The one who needs to show the world that I belong.
That I’ve made it.
That I’m successful.
That I’m enough.
And during one of the stillest moments of the retreat, it hit me like a gut punch:
I’ve never actually believed I was successful.
I’ve built businesses. Closed big deals. Changed lives through coaching. Spoken on stages. Made more money than I ever thought possible…
And yet, some part of me has still been trying to earn it.
Still wearing a mask. Still living with that weight. Still asking when is it finally enough?
And maybe you know that feeling too.
Like you’ve built something incredible—but you’re still waiting for someone to tap you on the shoulder and say, “You did it. You can relax now.”
Let me say this to you as I said it to myself:
You don’t need to prove anything anymore.
You are already worthy.
Not because of what you’ve done, but because of who you are.
During that retreat, for the first time in a long time, I felt lighter. Taller. Freer.
I looked around at the men & women beside me, many of them wildly successful on paper, but carrying so much silent weight.
We all were.
And the question that kept echoing through my mind was this:
What truth have I been afraid to name?
What part of myself have I been hiding—because I thought it wouldn’t be “enough”?
That question cracked something open in me.
Because I realized I’ve built a life that I love… but I haven’t always allowed myself to fully live it.
I’ve been pushing. Proving. Hustling.
And while I’ll never stop growing, it’s time I start doing it from a place of peace.
It’s time to breathe.
It’s time to let go of the weight.
To allow joy to come in—not after the next deal, not after the next milestone, but now.
And here’s what I’ve decided:
I want to build a 9-figure acquisition firm—not just because I can, but because I want to help entrepreneurs unlock the full value of the businesses they’ve poured their lives into.
I want to continue coaching—because I know my voice can spark life-change.
I want to speak to thousands of entrepreneurs—not for the applause, but because I have something real to say.
And I want friends—not business contacts or surface-level connections—but friends who challenge me, laugh with me, grow with me… and love me for who I am, not what I bring to the table.
Friends I don’t have to impress.
Friends I can just be with.
This retreat gave me permission to stop forcing life to happen for me… and start letting life happen through me.”
And that, my friends, is exactly what we are doing here.
That’s the energy we are creating.
A place where freedom isn’t just financial.
It’s multi-dimensional. Relational. Emotional. Spiritual.
Now that you know, I trust you’ll know whether this is for you.
If it feels like too much, that’s okay.
There’s no pressure, no hard feelings.
Honor your own path.
But if something inside you stirred when you read Mike’s words…
If part of you is tired of carrying the weight alone…
If you know you’re ready to meet your life — and yourself — more fully…
We’ll be here, ready when you are.
For the seekers, the builders, the ones who know there’s more:
I see you.
And you’re not alone.
To those who refuse to hide,
Mb
